After a two year recovery from knee and ankle injuries, NBA basketball player Klay Thompson returned to the Golden State Warriors court. At Sunday’s much anticipated game, Thompson managed to score 17 points in 20 minutes of playing time. The Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 96 to 82. Fans were excited about Thompson’s return, welcoming him back with uproarious applause as he entered the court. 

Thompson was part of the three-time NBA championship Warriors team and a give-time NBA all-star. He is considered one of the best shooters in the NBA. After a 2019 ACL injury and achilles injury back-to-back, he has not been able to play for the last 31 months.
